Set monthly goals

Published · Last updated

Give a product a different goal each month, in place of the even split.

First set the year: see Set your yearly goals.

1
Open Settings from the menu and choose the Goals tab.
2
On Office Goals, find the product's line on the Annual Goals card and press Monthly →.
3
Type a number in the box for each month. What you type saves by itself.
4
Check the Total at the end of the line. The yearly goal becomes that total.
5
To make a line even again, type a year total in the box at its end and press Split.

When you change the yearly goal later

  • The months you typed keep their numbers, and the rest of the year is spread over the other months.
  • If the typed months cannot fit the new goal, a window titled Every month already has its own goal asks what to do: add the difference to the months left in the year, or spread the new goal evenly over all 12 months.
  • Spreading it evenly replaces the months you typed. Cancel saves nothing.
