Add a bonus to a plan

Add a bonus card to a commission plan, on top of its base rates.

Open Settings, choose the Payouts tab and pick a plan.

Press Edit Plan, then Edit this plan. If people are on the plan, confirm with Yes, Edit Plan.

Press Add Rule and choose a card under What kind of rule?

Fill in the card and press Done.

Which card to choose

• Production Bonus: a set amount for each policy, or for each set of policies. See Add a production bonus.
• Milestone Bonus: a bonus for reaching a target. See Add a milestone bonus.
• Streak Bonus: a bonus for hitting a target several periods in a row. See Add a streak bonus.
• Team Goal: a bonus for each person when the team reaches a goal together. See Add a Team Goal bonus.
• Earnings Tier pays more as production grows. With several thresholds only the highest one crossed pays, unless you pick Tiers add up under How it applies.
• Volume Ladder pays a set amount at each tier you reach. Choose Only the highest tier pays or Tiers add up.

Each card shows its rule as pills, such as Counts: Issued, Tiers: Highest pays, Pays: Every 3 and Resets: Monthly. A capped "every $Y" Earnings Tier also shows Max.

Does a bonus pay when a sale is written or when it issues?
