Zip match and Source match show what agreed. A link made by hand is tagged Manual.
What makes a match
Producify compares the name on the lead with the policy name on the sale, then checks the dates and the place. It does not use phone numbers or email addresses.
- The name: two words agree, usually the first and last name.
- The date: the sale was written on or after the day the lead came in.
- The place: the zip code or the state agree. A nickname or a small misspelling counts only when they do.
When two leads fit one sale, the closer name wins, then the more recent lead.
Matching runs after every sales upload and every leads upload, and on its own a few times a day. Links you make or remove by hand are kept.
Fresh, Repeat and Aged
Each matched lead is one of these, checked in this order; the All Relationships dropdown at the top of Conversions and ROI filters every figure on the page by them:
- Repeat: the customer bought again after the first sale, any time later — a sale on a later day than the first. A same-day bundle is one purchase.
- Aged: otherwise, the first sale came more than 90 days after the lead.
- Fresh: otherwise — sold within 90 days of the lead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why wasn't a lead matched?
Usually the policy name shares no word with the lead, or the sale is dated before the lead. Link it by hand.
I recorded a sale by hand. Why does its lead show no sale?
Recording a sale does not run matching. The next upload, or the next run on its own, picks it up.
Why did a sale move to a different lead?
Each run works the automatic matches out again, so a newer lead can take the sale. Link it by hand and matching leaves it alone.
