The three panels
- Spent: what these sources cost, with the cost per policy under it.
- Brought in: the policies they sold, with the Issued premium and what you earned — premium times your commission rate.
- Return: what you earned − spend − producer pay, and when it pays for itself.
The Return switch — So far, After 1 year, After 3 years — moves the third panel, the table's Return column and the Return chart together, adding the renewals you'd expect.
The Source Breakdown table
The table lists your lead vendors and any other source set to Track marketing spend.
- Spent: what the vendor cost in the period, less credited returns.
- Policies and Premium: what its leads sold.
- Cost per policy: spend ÷ policies written, before commission.
- You earned: premium × your commission rate.
- Return: what you earned − spend − producer pay, as of the switch.
- Pays back: when the return turns positive, counting renewals.
Under Columns, off by default, are ROI % and the rest — Net today: office revenue − spend − producer commission.
See how well a vendor converts
Close rate is leads converted ÷ leads billed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is ROI a dash for one vendor?
ROI is net today ÷ spend, so a vendor with no spend in the period has none. Upload its leads with their cost, or enter its monthly spend.
Why is there no quote rate?
Producify does not record quotes by lead source, so Close rate runs from leads billed straight to leads converted.
Does Pays back know whose customers stay longer?
No. Producify does not measure retention by lead source: Pays back uses your office's one lapse rate for every source.
