Run Pay Team

Published · Last updated

Check what each person is owed for a pay period, then record it as paid.

5 minutes · Owner

Pay Team recalculates every person's pay from their sales each time it opens, so mark issued policies as issued first.

1
Open Payouts and press Pay Team.
2
Under Months this run pays, tick the months to include. An earlier month still owed is tagged unpaid and starts ticked.
3
Check each person's Earned, Chargeback, Net and Sales. Untick anyone you are not paying now.
4
Click a name to see their Policies and Earnings Breakdown.
5
Press Review.
6
Check Total Payout and each person's Net Payout.
7
Press Confirm & Lock Payroll, then Done.

If each run closes your pay period, there is no month list. Each person is paid everything that has issued since their last run, for the dates beside their name.

After the run

Beside the large figure on Payouts, the label reads Paid and the day of the run, such as Paid Oct 3.

  • In the sales log a paid sale opens as Locked Sale. Its fields are greyed out and it cannot be deleted, though you can still record a chargeback on it.
  • Uploading it again changes nothing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Pay Team send money to my team?

No. Pay Team records the run in Producify: who was paid, how much, and which sales it covered. It does not move money, so pay your team the way you already do.

Can I pay one person now and the rest later?

Yes. Untick the others on the first step. The second step warns that their earnings stay unpaid until the next run. When you open Pay Team again, Pay Remaining Members picks them up.

A policy issued after I ran Pay Team. What now?

If the month is your pay period, run Pay Team again for that month and it pays the difference. If each run closes your period, the policy accrues to the next run.
